Practice Areas: represents individual prisoners, engages in class action and other impact litigation, educates the public about prison conditions, and provides technical assistance to attorneys around the country.

Cost/Eligibility: Free. Must be currently incarcerated in a California state prison or detention center. Assistance occasionally provided to California state parolees. Cases are accepted dependent upon: the issue at hand, chances of success, amount of time and resources needed to properly assist, the office's resources, staff availability and caseload.
